How It Works

How it works

Elumi Wellness products use red and near-infrared LEDs in a wearable format that fits into your routine. Here's how the Wellness Belt works, and how to use yours.

Four simple steps

1. Wrap it on
Position the belt where you want it and fasten the adjustable strap so it sits comfortably.
2. Power it
Plug into the included wall adapter at home, or connect a power bank to use it on the go.
3. Set your session
10-20 minutes is the standard recommendation. Avoid using it longer than 30 minutes on a single area.
4. Make it a habit
Most people build it into an evening wind-down or use it while they relax. Consistency matters more than session length.

The two wavelengths

660nm red light — the shorter of the two wavelengths, closer to the surface.

850nm near-infrared — the longer wavelength, which reaches further beneath the surface. You can't see it, so you won't notice it shining.

Powering the Belt

  • The Belt has no built-in battery, so it must be connected to a power source while you use it.
  • At home: use the included wall adapter.
  • On the go: use a 12V power bank directly, or a standard 5V power bank with the included 5V-to-12V USB booster cable.
